Yetki belgesi, Avukatlık Kanunun 56. maddesinde avukatlara yetki belgesi düzenleme imkanı verilmiştir.
“Avukatlık Kanunu Madde 56: ….Avukatlar veya avukatlık ortaklığı başkasını tevkil etme yetkisini haiz oldukları bütün vekâletnamelerini kapsayacak şekilde bir başka avukata veya avukatlık ortaklığına vekâletname yerine geçen yetki belgesi verebilir. Bu yetki belgesi vekâletname hükmündedir.”
Avukat tarafından düzenlenen yetki belgesi vekaletname yerine geçmektedir. Yetki belgesi ile yetki verilmiş olan Avukat ilgili vekalette kendi ismi varmış gibi işlem yapabilir.

Yetki verilen avukat, yetki belgesinde belirtilen vekaletname ile yapılabilecek tüm işlemleri yapabilir.

Yetki Belgesi Nasıl Hazırlanır?
Türkiye Barolar Birliğinin 2003/97 sayılı duyurusunda belirtildiği üzere muvafakatnameye baro pulu yapıştırılması gerekmektedir.
Yetki veren avukat ve yetkili kılınan avukata ilişkin ad-soyad, baro sicil numarası, adres bilgileri yazılır.
Vekil eden kişinin ad-soyad, adres bilgileri yazılır. Dayanak belge olan vekaletnamenin noter bilgisi, yevmiye numarası ve tarihi yazılır.
